Did you know: Sea Glass is also known as ‘Mermaids Tears’?
Some say that Mermaids cry when a sailor or fisherman is lost at sea. When their tears touch the sands on shore turn to all colors of the ocean.
Another is that a Mermaid can only come to shore on a full moon light night and as dawn comes , the tears fall into to the sand changing into glass as the thought of never being able to walk freely on land saddens them.
Hamster’s Tiny Sushi Awarded Three Michelin Stars
Chef Claude, a hamster who owns the French-Japanese fusion restaurant Monsieur Oishī in Miami, FL, has been awarded three stars from the prestigious Michelin Guide for his tiny sushi creations.
“It’s been crazy here since we found out,” said restauranteur Andrew Boule, Claud’s partner in their sushi bar. ”We’re booked out through May and the phones have been ringing off the hook.”
With investors now lining up to put money into the popular pair, the two are considering opening a second location in Chicago in mid-2013.
